How to place order in OPIFY option simulator
Dipendu | Oct. 27, 2024, 12:56 p.m.Navigating the options simulator and placing your first trade is easy. In this guide, we'll walk you through the order placement steps, complete with screenshots to make it even clearer. Here’s how to do it
Step 1: Open the Option Chain Table
For Desktop/Laptop Users: Scroll to the bottom of the page where you’ll find the option chain table. This table shows the available strikes with details like strike price, call/put options, and latest prices (LTP).For Mobile Users: Tap the green "Option Chain" button to bring up the option chain table. If you need additional data, click the Filter icon on the table to narrow down specific parameters.

Step 2: Select Strike Price and Action
Browse through the option chain table and pick the strike price you want to trade. To place an order:Simply click on the "Buy/Sell" button beside your chosen strike. For this guide, let's say we’re selecting the 24650 Call option.

Step 3: Enter Lot Size and Transaction Type
Once you’ve chosen a strike:Select your lot size and transaction type Click the "Buy" button to confirm your order. If you’d like to adjust the quantity at the current market price, you can do so after placing the initial order.

Step 4: Simulate Using the Navigation Buttons

Step 5: Edit, Exit, or Delete a Position
To modify an open position:Click the Edit, Exit, or Delete button as needed.
